Vesta is known as the goddess planet, symbolizing the sacred flame within each of us and reminding us to belong to ourselves. In Roman mythology, Vesta was revered as the goddess of the hearth and home, embodying warmth, protection, and the essence of family and community. She was often depicted as a fully robed woman, reflecting her purity and devotion to service. Vesta also had a special connection to bakers, who honored her as their patron deity, and she was sometimes depicted with her favorite companion, a humble donkey, a symbol of hard work and dedication. In astrology, Vesta invites us to nurture our inner flame, focus on what truly matters, and cultivate a sense of wholeness and self-belonging.
