This Full Moon in Virgo gives us an opportunity to uncover shadows around perfectionism, feeling good enough, and self-worth. We can also work with patterns around healing and accepting ourselves as we are in the moment. Something we can all get better at!
The Full Moon in Virgo is setting the stage for a major change (changes is coming), it’s officially time to let go and move on….drop the past.
I get that this message may seem a bit harsh, but the truth is that we were given the first two months of 2023 to transition out of those old negative spaces and worn-out stories that we keep telling ourselves. This is so we could prepare for all the changes coming our way – and it starts now – like, right now, with this oh so busy Full Moon in Virgo.
The New Moon in February served as a preview of the upcoming changes and radical shifts in the cosmic energy of 2023. We will see three major planets change signs – which you will definitely want to pay attention to!
While we are in Pisces mansion, the opposite sign of Virgo, where the Full Moon takes place, the push-pull dynamic between Virgo and Pisces will present an opportunity for us to think about, deal with, or give or receive closure. This particular lunation is a reminder that it’s very real and more importantly, very healing.
Virgo is a fussy sign, wanting to know “Why did this happen? Why is this person doing this? What did I do to deserve this, etc.” searching for those answers that never come or the answer does come, but we can’t accept it.
The Pisces energy that is present during this Full Moon in Virgo, however, and with Saturn entering this sign at such a critical moment, reminds us that sometimes we will never know why something happened. Instead of “searching” for those answers, take a step back, change your mindset and try simply practicing gratitude and acceptance for who we are.
On the same day that the Full Moon enters Virgo, Saturn, the planet of structure, hard work, rules and responsibility changes signs and enters Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, where Saturn will remain for almost 3 years. For more info on Saturn, check out this post.
Pisces is imagination, dreams, spirituality with endless boundaries. Saturn is structure, restrictions, and hard work. This is all about endings and new beginnings. I like to think about this as a time to cultivate our own relationships with the Divine, Universe, God, Source, or whatever you refer to as your higher power.
If you were born the first 7 days of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius you can expect to engage with Saturn on a more personal level. Either you will feel restricted and limited by Saturn’s energy or you will find yourself restructuring and being more disciplined in your personal life. Thus, creating amazing clarity and discipline. It will be your choice!
We should always practice gratitude, we can show grace in acceptance of what occurred and we can show that wisdom is not resisting or trying to change the past. What’s done is done and all we can do is remember the cyclical nature of life. The end is in the beginning and the beginning is in the end. We can always have a second chance at a theme if we just give ourselves the chance to experience it.
What are you willing to let go of from your past during this Full Moon in Virgo?
Be prepared for there will be a BIG shift in energy! You got this!
