We can feel lost with so much AIR energy around this New Moon in Aquarius and may in fact feel as if we are living in between two worlds. The old archetype world vs. the new which hasn’t quite manifested yet. It could feel like “I know there is something new coming and there are old things, people and situations that are no longer serving – but what’s next”
Some relevant questions we should all consider – What of the old do you want to keep and what must go? What’s your new vision for the future? What do you want to create in your life for 2023?

Fresh new energy flows around this New Moon in Aquarius. It’s a gentler time, it’s a great time to plant seeds, set intentions and consider all you would like to draw close to you. Setting intentions and crafting goals can be beneficial to shift your life into greater alignment. It can fill you with a sense of purpose and bring meaning to your day-to-day routines. Setting your intentions and putting your wishes out there for the Universe are great tools that can yield positive results, but there is a call under this New Moon in Aquarius to be gentle in your approach.
What if we do away with this idea of BIG DREAMS and GRAND GOALS as we move into 2023? What if our focus is not so much on productive and purposeful matters? What if we dropped the idea of striving and just allow ourselves to be? This is a way to tap into Aquarius New Moon energy. Aquarius seeks freedom, independence and breaking away from the “norm”.
There is no denying that there has been some strong otherworldly energy these last few months guiding us down into the underworld causing us to deal with some deep seeded old wounds. This energy has been fueled by retrograde Mercury & Mars, exposing truths and all that has been hidden and out of sight in the underworld. The blessing is that this has given us a greater sense of clarity, understanding and awareness.
While this Aquarius New Moon does carry some fresh energy and will help to clear the cobwebs of those inward journeys, we have been making – there is a still a need to move with awareness. Be gentle and patient with yourself, take some time to catch your breath, we are after all just emerging from a dark and long journey.
Uranus is associated with technology, innovation, and all that is new. Uranus is also known to be rebellious and can cause sudden and unexpected changes. It is also associated with breakthroughs and breakdowns. Uranus is all about bulldozing old structures to create something new and futuristic!
The Uranus retrograde cycle began on Wednesday, August 23, but it is getting ready to move forward on January 22nd. During its retrograde period, its influence becomes more tempered and inverted. Instead of evoking change on an external level, Uranus has been working to transform us internally. Instead of changing the world around you, Uranus has been “encouraging” us to change.
Remember to be gentle with yourself. Take some time to be grateful and honor your quirkiness, your uniqueness. You are amazing just the way you are – own it! You got this!!!
