In the midst of Aries season and between two new moons in Aries, the Full Moon in Libra on April 5th brings some air to our fire. Libra is the sign of scales of justice, the stars are conjuring up themes of balance and diplomacy, which emphasizes the importance of balance and harmony even more during this period.
The Libra Full Moon energy can bring information to light, serve as moments of release, and prompt us to create more balance in our lives. The sign of Libra, ruled by the planet Venus, is all about creating balance, harmony, and keeping the peace. Themes to contemplate could be moderation, patience, and teamwork.
In the Aries mansion, we are focused on self. Libra is about the other, where we recognize that life is a mirror; what we see outside of us is a direct reflection of our own consciousness. This Full Moon in Libra is all about relationships and there is a great deal of healing and expansion in this Full Moon, there is optimism, and an expectancy of Joy in this particular lunation in the mansion of fiery Aries.
Full Moons are all about releasing and this Full Moon in Libra is about letting go of ways you are too focused on yourself, or moving to fast to where you inhibit your ability to have balanced, harmonious and beautiful relationships with others.
We have talked about this in the previous Blogs, but it’s something worth diving deeper into as Pluto has a 20-year cycle and the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was 1798. This time around we will all be examining our friendships and our power around groups or communities that we are involved in.
Each sign has kind of a reaction to its predecessor; the highest potential expression is a polarized reaction to the previous sign’s shadow. In the case of Aquarius – high vibe associations include equality, progressive policies, non-egoic collaboration, honest communication, fair use of and access to technology and renewable energy sources. This reaction is to Capricorn’s shadow, with a special focus on how Pluto functioned there. We witnessed abuse of power, corruption, defending outdated paradigms, institutions and worshiping of false gods of greed and materialism.
We’ll be talking more about this rare second New Moon in Aries later this month. I just wanted to point out that this is a potent solar eclipse, which promises high yields for ventures you decide to start on this day. This will be an amazing time to not only set your intentions, but to also take a leap of faith into a new opportunity. Examine what you want vs. what others want!
This is a highly charged transitional time with Aries getting all fired up. As we move forward towards this second New Moon, remember the intentions you set on March 21st. We will want to revisit those intentions to be certain that we are in alignment with our soul purpose.
Mercury goes retrograde in Taurus on April 21 – May 15. This is the time to actually go back in time and discovery old pleasures and prosperous paths.
When Mercury, or any planet, retrogrades, it means that it is moving in a backward motion. However, planets never move away from their paths. A planet retrograding is really just an optical illusion perceived from Earth’s vantage point.
Mercury retrograde this time around is in the earth sign denoted by a bull is rooted in the materialistic world. Mercury retrograding in Taurus means that the finances of all zodiacs will be affected. The focus will be on business and career rather than love. It is a particularly challenging period for signs like Taurus and Gemini, as their minds will oscillate between gaining control over their finances and fighting the urge to splurge on an expensive vacation or some expensive item that that just can’t live without.
Overall, we will all explore options to improve our financial condition and broaden our horizons in our individual work fields. When it comes to relationships, all signs are advised to maintain healthy boundaries in order to avoid triggering unnecessary experiences and go into self-reflective mode.
