Have you ever had one of those moments when you just knew something?
You couldn’t necessarily explain it. You didn’t have all the facts. You simply knew.
Something didn’t feel right. A conversation felt off. Or maybe an opportunity looked perfect on paper, but something inside you hesitated.
Perhaps it was the opposite. Something felt completely right, even though you couldn’t explain why.
And then your mind got involved.
Are you sure?
What if you’re wrong?
Maybe you need more information.
Before long, that quiet knowing gets buried beneath questions and second-guessing.
Until sometime later, when you find yourself saying:
I knew. I knew. I knew.
I knew something wasn’t right.
I knew I should have trusted that feeling.
I knew before I understood why.
Our minds want things to make sense.
We gather the facts, weigh the possibilities and look for evidence before deciding what to believe.
Intuition rarely waits for evidence.
Sometimes it simply says, “Pay attention.”
And that’s where things get interesting.
Because almost as quickly as we know something, we can begin questioning how we know it.
Why do I feel this way?
What am I basing this on?
What if I’m wrong?
We start searching for an explanation for something that may not be ready to be explained.
And maybe that’s the space where we lose touch with our intuition—not because it stopped speaking, but because our mind became louder.
What if, instead of immediately trying to prove or disprove what we sense, we simply paused long enough to notice it?
We don’t have to act on it.
We don’t have to assume it’s right.
We can simply say:
And listen.
Because sometimes the understanding comes later.
And when it does, we may find ourselves saying those familiar words once again:
I KNEW.
Archangel Haniel’s energy beautifully supports this connection to our inner wisdom.
Sometimes the hardest part of following our intuition isn’t receiving the message. It’s trusting what we receive before our mind begins questioning it.
This is where Archangel Haniel, associated with intuition and inner wisdom, can offer gentle support. Rather than asking Haniel to make the decision for us, we can invite her to help us quiet the noise and become more receptive to our own inner guidance.
Working with Haniel can be as simple as having a conversation with a trusted friend.
Maybe you just need to TRUST what you already know.
